Board Vacancies

Joining our Board of Trustees

What does a Trustee do?

As a Trustee, you will share, with the other members of the Board, the responsibility for deciding how the organisation is run and what it wants to achieve.

Trustees are expected to attend Board meetings which take place every 6 weeks and to represent the organisation at other meetings, projects and events that may occur from time to time. Depending on the circumstances, some meetings may take place online.

Who are we looking for?

We are interested in attracting Trustees with relevant experience in the social and charity sector but equally, we value transferrable skills from other sectors to provide broader commercial and political insights which can help us achieve greater social impact.

How can you make a difference?

We are a small local charitable organisation with ambitions to grow and develop our services in and around Bristol. We have an excellent reputation for providing client focussed services, a committed staff team and a healthy asset base to support future aims and objectives.

As a Trustee, you will have a significant influence on what we do and how we do it. Certainly working in a small organisation has its challenges and limitations; but it also provides greater opportunities to drive organisational change and to make an impact in an organisation where your skills are needed most.
