Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to gain work experience and help us to provide additional services for the people we help.

We are able to reimburse volunteers for reasonable out of pocket expenses and fund relevant training. If you have some spare time and you are able to commit regularly or for a fixed period of time we would love to hear from you.

We try to be open minded about volunteering candidates and the opportunities on offer. Inevitably some vacancies seek specific skills but where possible we also try to develop potential and the chance to gain experience. If you are tolerant, open minded and committed to helping us achieve our mission we would love to hear from you.

IT Volunteer Needed

If you have IT skills we would love to hear from you. Below are just some of the projects you could help us with:

• Developing our Intranet site
• Developing SharePoint Portals and document management systems

Filmmaker Multimedia Volunteer

We are looking for someone with the skills and experience to produce short videos to provide advice and training resources for service users, staff and visitors to our website.

Photographer Volunteer

We are looking for someone with the skills to produce various digital photographs for publication on our website, annual reports and leaflets and various marketing materials.

Desktop Publishing Volunteer

We are looking for a volunteer with skills and experience to develop a suite of new service information leaflets. Experience of using Microsoft desktop publishing and/or Adobe Acrobat would be helpful.
